Bolton W2s where at home to Moss Parks 2s at the 2.30 time slot
Bolton and Moss park started well with an evenly matched game and end to end play. The defence of Jo Tanner, Caitlyn Walker and Debbie Nicholson held firm despite going down a goal early on in the game with a penalty corner was deflected into the goal from a defender knee unfortunately.
Half time and Bolton were ready to get going with Fiona Clarke and Nat Boal keeping the ball moving from the defensive mid with creative moves to the midfield of Debbie Green, Jess Hawkrigg and Violey Kimbowa all making runs into the D but unable to convert. After some penalty corners Bolton were unable to get the ball past the Moss Park keeper, play began on the left from Debbie Green, to allow Viv Lake to run into the D, with her back to the goal and time of her side, she was able to reverse flick over the defender and past the keeper slotting the ball between the keeper and the cross bar to drop into the goal, with a look of disbelief from the umpire - goal given!
