Bolton W3s had an early start on Saturday with a game away at Oldham 3s. Oldham proved a dominant force in the first part of the game but the young Bolton side grew into the game, winning a short corner on the stroke of half time, which was expertly converted by captain Katie Bent. Half time 0-1.

Oldham started the second half looking for an equaliser but the Bolton defence held strong defending numerous short corners and cutting out Oldhams opportunities. Despite Bolton defending strongly Oldham found an equaliser from a tap in at the back post. This motivated Bolton to push for a winner which came from a sublime finish from Louisa Yoxall who smashed the ball in from the top of the circle with only a matter of minutes left of the game. Final score 1-2 another fantastic win for Bolton W3s who currently find themselves 4th in their league.
